The Lord knows the infinite depth of everything.
Nothing can overextend His majesty.
"Lord, if my mind stumbles and falls, are You there?"
"Lord, when my soul is burned, do You care?"
I ride the freight train called "me",
To the end place called Destiny.
This heavy burden is followed by loads of resentment.
My hope fails as every stop adds another deposit.
Fact: what could be more cold and hard,
than the cold hard truth.
Truth: should make sense in this town,
or so it seems.
The Lord is mighty in all and all; higher than I.
Please ignore the wicked man as You look down from above.
Can you see the rainbow in that chandelier love?
My understanding tells me a frustrating "no".
I am confused by the color of the day.
Maybe black is white and white is black.
Either that or I have been deceived.
Perhaps I have been tricked into thinking I am deceived.
"SSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH", says the Lord.
Be still and now that I am God.
Don't exalt your ignorance and misunderstanding,
For I am to be exalted above all things:
whether seen or unseen;
either in Heaven or Earth;
above every nation or king;
if here, there or everywhere;
now or then, big or small;
I am Lord of ALL.
Don't wonder the world and be deceived.
Don't step ahead of Me thinking you perceive.
Don't look at a tree and try to count the leaves.
Just receive, receive, receive.
Oh Lord, please show me the way;
help me to walk from strength to strength.
Teach me to walk in humility and faith;
open my eyes so that I may see Your face.
Thank You, Lord.
If I lose everything, You are there.
If I become nothing, I know You still care.
Thank You Lord, for delivering me from despair.
